Shepherd’s Pie with Cheddar Crust
Shepherd’s Pie is a comforting classic that’s hearty, easy, and perfect for anytime of year. It’s extra delicious when you add a cheesy cheddar crust!
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups mixed frozen vegetables, defrosted
- 10 oz. can of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. dried thyme
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 3 cups mashed potatoes, prepared
- 1 cup Paradise Island Sharp Cheddar or Paradise Island Lactose Free Old Cheddar, shredded
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a pan over medium-high heat. Drain fat.
- Stir in soup, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, thyme, and pepper.
- Pour mixture into a 9×13” baking dish or 6 individual ramakins.
- Spoon mashed potatoes over filling and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
