Tortellini with Mushrooms and Parmesan Cheese

Tortellini is such a crowd-pleasing pasta! This easy recipe pairing mushrooms, sage, and parmesan puts the perfect gourmet touch to a classic dish!

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 600g package of tortellini
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, diced
  • 114g (4 oz) cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 114g (4 oz) oyster mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp of fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 cup Paradise Island Parmesan Shredded Cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions

  1. Cook tortellini as per directions on the package, strain, and set aside.
  2. While cooking tortellini, add butter to a large pan and heat on med-high heat. Saute garlic and shallot until translucent for about a minute then add the mushrooms until they are golden brown, about five minutes.
  3. Toss in the cooked tortellini, sage, and parmesan until nicely coated. Serve immediately. Garnish with more cheese and sage if desired.
