Tortellini with Mushrooms and Parmesan Cheese
Tortellini is such a crowd-pleasing pasta! This easy recipe pairing mushrooms, sage, and parmesan puts the perfect gourmet touch to a classic dish!
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 600g package of tortellini
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small shallot, diced
- 114g (4 oz) cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 114g (4 oz) oyster mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp of fresh sage, chopped
- 1 cup Paradise Island Parmesan Shredded Cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe Directions
- Cook tortellini as per directions on the package, strain, and set aside.
- While cooking tortellini, add butter to a large pan and heat on med-high heat. Saute garlic and shallot until translucent for about a minute then add the mushrooms until they are golden brown, about five minutes.
- Toss in the cooked tortellini, sage, and parmesan until nicely coated. Serve immediately. Garnish with more cheese and sage if desired.
