Warm Cheesy Jalapeño Dip
Cheese dips are the classic crowd pleaser at any get together! Adding a little kick just brings up the flavour by a notch!
Recipe Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and small diced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cayenne powder
- 1 cup Paradise Island Marble Cheddar, shredded
1 cup Paradise Island Monterey Jack Jalapeño Pepper or Lactose Free Monterey Jack Jalapeño Pepper, shredded
½ cup panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp butter, melted
Optional- ½ jalapeño sliced in rounds for garnish
Recipe Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350° F
2. In a medium-large bowl combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, jalapeno,
cumin, chili powder, and cayenne. Using a hand blender blend until fully combined.
3. Add marble and jalapeño cheese into cream cheese mixture. Using a spatula
combine well and transfer the mixture to a 4 cup shallow baking dish.
4. Combine bread crumbs and butter in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over top of the
cheese dip.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the sides start to bubble.
6. Top with jalapeño slices and serve immediately with various vegetables, pita, or crackers.
